The handle is made from ebony Katalox which is a rich brown in colour, it also features an intricate mosaic pin in between 2 brass pins. The blade is made from Bohler-Uddeholm N690 steel and has a polished finish. The Chartermade pattern knife excels at all types of free hand cuts needed for leather working projects. The curvature of the blade allows for straight cuts, pull cuts, push cuts and detailed cuts.Included in the custom made gift box is a hand cut and compounded leather strop to allow you to maintain the edge of your knife to keep you cutting more leather for longer. Current custom versions are the bee pattern design with a Green Curly Maple wooden handle and an elephant etched blade with a Bocote wooden handle. Both come with a hand made veg tan sheath.
