I painted this while I was on vacation by the ocean, which is always where I feel the most inspired and the most myself. I remember sitting there just wanting to play with color an d movement without any pressure. The jellyfish and bubbles came naturally and the whole thing ended up feeling really happy and light. This piece reminds me of slowing down, enjoying where I am, and letting myself have fun with my art. It has always felt like a snapshot of a peaceful moment by the water.
