Yukihana is a vessel of frozen movement. Its surface is heavily textured, almost jagged, like the weathered face of a glacier. The glaze shifts from deep navy to dusty baby blue, a s if light is dimming over ice. Despite the roughness, crystals rise from the surface with surprising clarity, like frost blooming from stone, some edged with soft white halos, others with a smoky brown warmth.
