If someone rises from the chair where the Chair Leaving Detection Alarm has been placed, the carer, friend, or family member will be alerted and can act accordingly. There is a 15 minute delayed alarm option available. As a mobility aid, this aid plays an important part in daily living routines. The kit comes complete with the chair pressure pad, a 5 channel alarm receiver, and a multi-functional sensor transmitter. The transmitter has a long range transmission of up to 200 metres (218 yards). It is powered by 3 x AAA batteries (not included) which provide up to six months of continuous use with a low battery warning LED. There is an optional mains AC power adaptor available.
