Chegodilu, also known as Chekodi or Ring Murukku, is a traditional South Indian savory snack popular in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. Chegodilu is made fr om a mixture of rice flour, besan (gram flour), cumin seeds, sesame seeds, salt, and sometimes spices such as chili powder and asafoetida. To shape Chegodilu, the dough is rolled out into thin ropes, which are then twisted and formed into small rings or knots. These shaped dough pieces are then deep-fried in oil until they turn golden brown and crispy.
