Chemex FP-1 Unfolded Circle Filter Papers The Chemex FP-1 are unfolded circle filters - note these are unfolded and require folding before use, unlike the pre-folded FC-100 circles. If you'd prefer a pre-folded option, the FC-100 is the same circle shape but ready to use straight from the box. Like all Chemex filters, the FP-1 are made from bonded paper 20-30% thicker than standard pour-over filters, removing bitter oils, sediment, and grounds more effectively and producing the clean, bright cup the Chemex method is known for.
