The Chemtrol 230 ORP Controller is a microprocessor-based digital controller designed to maintain the sanitizer ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential or Redox) level of neutral-type sanitizers; i.e., bromine or dichlor that do not require pH control. The Chemtrol 230 is ideal for small commercial pools (apartments, condos, or small motels) and high-end residential pools. This unit includes the controller, respective probe, paddle wheel flow switch, and miscellaneous plumbing supplies.The Chemtrol 230 is simple and easy-to-use controller. The functions are clearly labeled and accessible from the front panel with safety and easy-reset features not found in other controllers. A bright LCD display shows ORP readings, calibration adjustments, and alarm limits. The five LED lights indicate the operating modes (OFF, Manual or Auto), feed status, out-of-range alarms, and overfeed alarms. The front panel controls include set-point, calibration, low and high alarm limits, safety timer limit, and proportional feed adjustment. Feed control is either ON/OFF or Proportional. The Proportional Feed feature is particularly useful to avoid overfeeding in small bodies of water.
