A Turban from Chengdu, China. I lost some in the first winter but I expect to have a nice winter hardy population in short order. Waiting to see how they make out this year under e xtra straw, and after that first year of loss. Oftentimes Turban and Asiatic garlic shipped from the Northwest sprouts too early the first year- sometimes a wee sprouted as I bust the bulb in mid October. After losing the weaker cloves, they usually start to delay their sprouting the second year.
