1000 Armed Chengrezig Statue About Our StatueThis particular statue is the copper body. The statue depicts the deity standing atop a lotus throne with his two forearms clasped together. In the same way, he places a high value on Bodhicitta or unconditional love for all sentient creatures. Each of his 1000 hands has an eye in the center of the palm, representing not only his ability to see the torment all sentient beings endure but also the 1000 Buddhas of our eon.
