Prep Nails - Push back and remove cuticles, buff the nail plate, and clean with alcohol to remove oils and dust2. TIP: You can create multiple effects by repeating the steps and holding the magnet in different positions over your nails. Cap the free nail edge which will create a protective seal around the tip and sides of the nail.6.
