W 405mm x H 305mm watercolour on 300gsm Fabriano Artistico paper, unframed. The painting shows an infusion of Cherry Blossom petals and colours, based on a research trip to Japan. I experienced a strange journey up the side of a mountain, where at the top there was still ice and snow and as we descended it was as if we were entering early spring.
