This variant was found in Denmark in 1942. It is a very good juicing apple with mild honeyed sweetness with spicy-aromatic (hints of cherry) notes. The flesh has flavour similar to Cox although the fruits do keep longer. Cherry Cox has greater disease resistance than its parent. Pollination Group 3. Dessert - Spur Bearer.
