A substantial carafe made to be used as much as admired. We wanted this statement piece to be as functional as it is beautiful, adding the ring of blue glass around the neck to mak e the weighty piece easier to hold and pour. A skilled technique undertaken by Rory. The cherry coloured glass at the bottom not only adds a pop of fun but also keeps the carafe steady and balanced. Our Cherry Drop carafe forms part of 'Sweet Shop', a collection of handblown glassware in a range of zesty colourways evoking memories of the traditional sweet shop. A collaborative project with Kilkenny-based studio Jerpoint, we spent time experimenting with colour, shape, and tactility before finalizing the collection, which consists of a stemmed glass, tumbler, and carafe. Beautifully crafted, exclusive to Irish Design Shop. Dimensions: 28.5cm tall with 6.5cm wide spout (11.2" tall with 2.5" spout) and holds approx. 1.5l of liquid.
