This paddle is a one of a kind! This paddle was recently made and had a knot in the middle of the blade. Greg saved it for this reason, so he could fill the knot with metallic blue marine grade epoxy. The paddle is indeed usable, its a 64" Ray Special. Caring for this paddle: The only thing to avoid is leaving the paddle in direct sunlight for long periods of time. It can cause the epoxy to be come soft. Don't worry, just remove the paddle from the heat source and let cool for a few hours. Show more
