I watch a lot of sunsets but have never seen a sky so cherry red! Beautiful shades of reds, oranges, pinks and blues made up this sunset. The landscape was all shades of dark blues. I was so blessed to have seen it out my window and rushed out on the porch to watch and memorize all the colors for this painting. I knew if I went to find my camera it would be gone. Sure enough, 3 to 4 minutes it had changed to all evening blues. An old timer told me he wondered if all the fires in surrounding states had changed the atmosphere to show so much red. I put it down to GOD’S special gift to mankind! Mixed media oil painting on wrapped canvas 30 inches wide x 20 inches height x 1 1/2 inches depth. Painting surrounds on all four sides and is finished with gloss varnish. Just imagine what wall it will look good in your space!
