Description Standard The Amish Chesapeake Extenda Bench is a primitive style bench perfect for use with our Chesapeake trestle table. Like the Chesapeake table, the Chesapeake Exte nda Bench accepts leaves to expand and features a thick tongue and groove top with dowel pin construction. Please note that breadboard style tops like this will expand and contract with humidity levels. This may cause the center boards to shrink (creating an overhand on the end boards) or swell (making the end boards narrower than the table center.
