Part of our Hills collection, Cheviot Rise is the coffee we serve from the Land Rover Defenders, the one our customers return for week after week - smooth, balanced and rooted in place. Named after The Cheviot, Northumberland's highest summit and an Icon of our Northumberland landscape. Unbeknownst to many, The Cheviot, under its cloak of heather, lies the remnant of a long-silent volcano. Over 400 million years ago, it erupted in fire and fury, slowly cooling into the rounded hills we now know and love. When we discovered a Colombian coffee ‘Volcano’, grown on the fertile volcanic soils of Nariño, it felt fated. This coffee draws a poetic symmetry, one volcano to another. A line between the Andes and the roots of our own northern hills. This coffee is smooth and comforting with a citrus lift. We serve this coffee for espresso-based drinks on the Northumberland coffee Defenders. It brews beautifully across all formats. Be it as a filter, V60, Aeropress and Cafetiere, a true all-rounder.
