The CS-GMVSS1 is for trucks that came from the factory with navigation and includes a female RCA adapter with two pins that get put into your existing VSS harness plug. The CS-GMVSS2 is for instances where a factory navigation unit was added and the actual brown VSS connector was not included with the OEM navigation unit. CS-GMVSS2 contains the female RCA adapter already installed in a factory brown VSS connector that will plug into the back of your navi unit. CS-GMVSS3 is for 2012 and newer model years.
