[sheesh ta-wook] A family favourite for years, this is a chicken, marinated for up to 48 hours in my grandmother’s special blend of herbs and spices and served in on a portion of L ebanese bread with a serving of grilled tomoatoes, pickles, garlic paste and fries. My eldest son’s favourite!! The word shish comes from the Old Turkish word şiş, meaning “skewer” and tawook means chicken. Show more
