The Atkinson Candy Company has been making Chick-O-Sticks since the 1950s. The family-owned confectionery produces the candy at its factory in Lufkin, Texas, where it has been maki ng toasted coconut and fresh roasted peanut butter since the 1940s. Chick-O-Sticks are peanut butter sticks with a honeycombed texture and coconut coating. They are made with peanut butter, cane sugar, corn syrup, toasted coconut, natural vanilla flavor, and salt, and contain no artificial preservatives or hydrogenated oils. In 2019, Atkinson relaunched the candy with natural colors and simple ingredients, including vegetable juice concentrate-derived colors and natural turmeric. Chick-O-Sticks are available in original flavor, spicy Pic-O-Sito, and sugar free versions sweetened with Splenda. Show more
