These 5" x 7" cards were designed for younger children (ages 5-8) as found in grades K-3. Keep in mind that children in this age group do not need to know what color they are and what their selection means. This information is for leader, teacher, or parent use only. Because young people have the tendency to respond like their peers, make sure they don’t feel this kind of pressure. Also, many boys think it is cool to be Orange while many girls think they are supposed to be Blue. If this happens, take a close look at their next-most-favorite color -- this may be their true color. Then, weigh their selections against your own observations of their behavior. It is important to remember that as children grow and mature, they often temporarily adopt attributes of other personality types until they ultimately "find themselves." During this time, it is more important that they understand the characteristics of each color than it is to figure out their own specific personality type. This package contains 10 sets of the Child Discovery Cards.
