Easy to filter. Best for steeping 12–24 hours. If you are buying WHOLE BEAN, below are the recommended and not-so-recommended grinds: Coarse grind (recommended) Produces the smoothest, least bitter cold brew. Easy to filter. Best for steeping 12–24 hours. Medium-coarse grind Also works well if coarse isn't available. May extract a little more flavor and body. Medium/drip grind Can be used in a pinch. Results in a stronger brew with more sediment and a slightly more bitter taste. Fine or espresso grind Not recommended. Over-extracts, making the coffee bitter and muddy. Very difficult to filter.
