One of the world's most recognised chillies. Tabasco chillis are the main ingredient in the spicy sauce called Tabasco. Fruits grow upwards rather than hang down from the stems. Th e plant looks like an upright bush and reaches heights of around 1 metre. The fruits are small, only around 2.5-3cm long by 1cm wide, and they change colour from light yellow to green to orange before ripening fully red. The chillis have a scoville heat rating of 30,000 - 50,000 SHU. Show more
