This female was donated by Fish & Wildlife at the end of her arduous 700 mile journey back to the river bed from where she hatched. Her eggs were harvested and cared for to be rele ased in the same creek and begin the cycle anew. The eggs and scarring were hand painted and bare spots in the print are the result of no flesh or scales left, creating a rather sentimental homage to her life.
