The Hirosaki region of northern Japan is famous for its crop of delicious apples. The apple trees themselves, when no longer productive, are often cut up to be used as firewood or simply discarded. This unique collection makes fresh use of this underused resource, as the apple wood is worked and reborn as useful and beautifully detailed bath accessories.
