Painting, 24"x36"by Yang TonggeChiyou or Chiyoudi was the emperor and ancestor of the Hmong some 5000 years ago in today Zhuolu area, northwest of today Beijing. Chiyoudi was said to fight against Huangdi and Yandi but was finally lost the war and killed in Zhuolu. In 2000 the Chinese government in Zhuolu erected stone statues of Chiyoudi, Huangdi and Yandi in Zhuolu, visited by thousands of people each year. Show more
