These spacers prevent collisions between your keycaps and switches while typing. Kailh Choc switches were never the quietest things, but with the advent of Ambients Silent switches, other noises have come to the forefront. All choc switches were designed so that the stem can travel beyond the top surface of the switch when pressed. This means that if the keycap is not designed with a spacing mechanism to prevent it, the keycap can hit the top case of the switch when typing. FKCaps, the makers of the ever popular MBK PBT keycaps, to the rescue! They have produced a self-adhesive sticker that can be either stuck to the keycap or the switch and adds around 0.5mm to the height of the keycap. This small height difference allows typing without your keycaps hitting the switches. Each pack contains 48 self-adhesive spacers. NOTE: Not all keycaps require these spacers. It has been found to help MBK, Tai Hao THT, and the ZSA Voyager keycaps. If you know of other profiles it helps, let us know. Lowprokb's LDSA and DDC keycaps do NOT require spacers.
