Liverpool's legendary Death Metal pioneers Carcass are often credited with shaping the entire death metal genre. Pushing boundaries with their shocking imagery whilst evolving and innovating with each new album. This carefully curated compilation takes tracks from iconic albums such as 'Reek Of Putrefaction', 'Symphonies of Sickness' and 'Necroticism - Descanting the Insalubrious' through to the melodic milestone of 'Heartwork' and the farewell record 'Swansong'. On the second LP, there are some rare BBC Session tracks recorded with the seminal John Peel in the late 1980s. This is the first time Earache has released this essential compilation on vinyl.
