Choya Aged 5 Years represents a refined expression of umeshu, Japan's traditional plum liqueur. This 700ml bottle showcases the result of five years of careful maturation, allowing the delicate balance of Ume plum fruit and subtle oak influences to develop into a sophisticated, well-rounded spirit. The extended aging process mellows the initial brightness, creating layers of complexity with notes of stone fruit, honey, and gentle spice. Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to fully appreciate its depth, this premium umeshu appeals to discerning palates seeking an authentic Japanese experience with genuine character and refinement.
