Merry Christmas, and happy holidays to you all. This little project is a must for those wanting to use the pencil set that I suggested but also to practice watercolour texture. I hope you can find some lovely me-time during the festivities, if not, why not paint it when you have time and squirrel it away as a gift to give someone next year? Every now and then I like to test myself on painting non-organic subjects and see if I can mimic all the textures I see. Here we have a sparkly bow and green garden string, so two new challenges, which I know you will love to try. As a predominantly botanical painter, I do like to jump out of my usual sphere of comfort once in a while. So why not throw on a festive jumper, head to your painting station and join me to paint this lovely little festive study. Warm wishes and peace alwaysBilly xx
