Taking advance orders for a short period! Christmas cakes will be available for collection between 16th and 19th December. Let me know if you have any special requests and I'll do my best to accommodate them as always. A traditional Christmas cake, weighty with all the good stuff - toasted hazelnuts, myriad dried fruits (figs, apricots, cherries, prunes), ginger, orange and lemon, candied peel, brandy and butter. Doused with more brandy and decorated with home made almond paste, dried fruits and nuts (an icing-free zone).Flour, butter, sugar, hazelnuts, prunes, apricots, figs, candied peel, glace cherries, crystallised ginger eggs, almonds, walnuts, pecans, raisins, sultanas, currants, brandy, orange, lemon, baking powder, icing sugar Two sizes: small (1kg) and large (2kg) Please note that I use nuts, seeds, milk and eggs in some recipes baked in my kitchen.
