One of a series of conceptual paintings around the theme of light at Christmas, I wanted to combine the idea of a journey of faith with the popular idea of a decorative candle hold er as a Christmas decoration, and how easy it is to just see the season as an excuse to decorate the house cheerfully for a couple of weeks. It is painted in acrylic on a canvas panel which is 14" x 9.75" (356mm x 236mm). It is unframed. Show more
