Robins have been associated with Christmas since Victorian times, when the tradition of sending Christmas cards started. The Royal Mail postmen who delivered the Xmas cards wore br ight red uniforms and they earned the nickname 'Robin' or 'redbreast'. Artists illustrated cards with pictures of postboxes or postmen but over time, they started to draw robins instead of postmen. Since then, we have associated Xmas with robins. We are therefore delighted to introduce our knitted robin Christmas tree decoration, part of our extensive range of knitte Xmas tree decorations. Please note that this is a decoration and not a toy and is therefore not suitable for children under 3 years.
