The margin fades to creamy white in the summer, and occasionally strea ks to the center of the leaf. Forms an attractive mound of rounded leaves that are cupped and heavily corrugated. Lavender flowers in mid summer are followed by stunning reddish purple seed pods. Why Should I Grow It? Thick leaves that are very crinkled. (K. Vaughn/M.
