This icon has been painted, reproduced and made in Melbourne. The image is Christ the Redeemer from a 6th century prototype in St catherine's Monastery, Sinai. The original is by L ynne Gray, and was painted with egg tempera and gold on wood. This small block icon is 11.8cm by 7.8cm, 1cm thick. It is fitted with a loop for hanging on the back.
