Chrysanthos' range of opaque pottery underglazes are non-toxic and fully intermixable. Must be covered with a clear glaze to be food safe, but will maintain a beautiful matte finish when left unglazed for decorative or sculptural work. Please take note of the firing temperature, as this can vary depending on the shade. Apply on greenware or bisque. Use 1-3 coats to achieve your desired coverage and wait for coats to dry between applications. Colours are intermixable within the range. No bleeding occurs where colours meet on a piece. Food safe with clear glaze if fired correctly. UG117 LIME FIRING RANGE: between Cone 06 (999°C) – Cone 03 (1,101°C). Colour outcome may differ from the tile shown depending on variables such as firing temperature, clay body, application etc. We always recommend making a small test piece prior to applying to larger work.
