The Chubby Sally is a yellow sally stonefly pattern tied in the very popular Chubby Chernobyl dry fly style. Yellow sallies hatch in the late July and August time of year on most s treams and trout are all over them when they hatch. Unlike other stoneflies, the yellow sally nymphs swim to the surface like a mayfly nymph to hatch in the surface film. It is game-on for the trout and some good yellow sally nymphs and dry flies like the Chubby Sally will be welcome additions to your fly boxes. Size 14. Show more
