Our modern rustic style planked handmade bed has a tall headboard and contrasting lower foot board. Although the timber has a rustic appearance, it is nevertheless very smooth to touch giving a real quality feel to your bed and a slightly more modern style. The chunky bedposts fix to the wooden side rails by mortise and tenon joints which are then bolted to secure. The chunky planked bed base is of a very strong design.
