Optional Gear The XLR Extension Kit is compatible with this CineBack® if you have the a7 IV and a7S III and want to use the Sony XLR-H1 XLR Handle Unit. This setup requires the SmallRig Adapter Plate for Sony FX30/FX3 XLR Handle as well as one of these cages: SmallRig 3667B for the a7 IV or the SmallRig 2999 cage for the a7S III. For camera power, you can use our right angle USB-C cables to power your camera via USB-C PD (power delivery) from one of the two USB-C jacks on CineBack®. Alternatively, you can power the camera from the D-Tap jacks on CineBack®. We've used the Alvin's Cable version as well as the Kondor Blue cable without issue.
