In crafting his fragrances, Edmond Roudnitska, the greatest perfumer of his generation, would put as much thought and care into the aroma chemicals as he would the naturals. He would use benzyl acetate ex Ylang-ylang or Jasmine, Geraniol ex Palma Rosa, Linalool ex Bois de Rose, Cinnamic Alcohol ex Styrax and on and on. This 100% natural Cinnamic Alcohol ex Styrax (a speciality of Payan Bertrand) has to be smelled to be believed. It is so good you simply want to melt into it and fade away in to a world of odour perfection. Use it in small amounts for a richesse impossible to obtain otherwise, or go wild and overdose in a floral base! It is useable to a very respectable 2.18% of your finished product. NOTE: because this is a natural isolate, it contains approximately 55% cinnamic alcohol with the remainder being made up of natural phenyl propyl alcohol and natural cinnamic aldehyde from the same extraction source (see associated SDS for more details). This also means the product is in a liquid state making it far easier to use than pure cinnamic alcohol which is a solid at room temperature.
