Softstick or Cinnamomum Verum has thin, birch-like layers. The "true" cinnamon has a much softer and delicate flavor than Cassia. Best used where its delicate, slightly citrusy, ta ste is not overwhelmed by other strong flavors. Easy to grind at home, unlike hardstick. Show more
