Cissus discolor ‘Violet Vine’Cissus discolor ‘Violet Vine’ is a strongly coloured selection with narrow silver-patterned leaves, red stems and saturated violet undersides. Dark green follows the main veins across the upper surface, while pale metallic areas fill the spaces between them. Red-toned tendrils curl beside the leaves and repeat the colour of the fine supporting stems.The vine can climb or trail, changing how much of the purple reverse remains visible. Fresh leaves are soft, smaller and flushed bronze-violet; the blades lengthen and their silver pattern sharpens as they unfold. Branching gradually creates more climbing points and a fuller network of coloured stems. On older growth, the deepest violet sits beneath the largest leaves, while the newest tips carry brighter red and silver. Leaves, tendrils and stems all contribute to the silver, red and violet colour range.
