This watch isn't for everyone, coming at a massive 46mm diameter this is a behemoth of a watch, even to 2000s watch size standards (looking at you Invicta) however, this watch isn't big just to be big, this Citizen Aqualand Douplex REF#:C506-000711 TA is a professional diver's watch. Born the in 90s this Citizen is a combination of traditional quartz watch technology with a computer used for displaying a variety of information essential for those in the diving field such as a rapid ascend warning signal, water temperature display, auto-start diving mode, and a chronograph. While for most of us these features will go severely unused this watch is simply amazing, not in your traditional sunburst dial with elegant polishing type of beautiful but in the rugged and adventure inspiring type of beauty. When looking at this watch the matte black dial almost punches your eyes with how stunning it is, the white & orange text adds for nice contrast. The hands are uniquely Citizen, large and bold orange hands proudly display the time with the hour hand being a cathedral design, the minute hand a syringe design and the seconds hand an arrow design. Surrounding the hands are the two digital displays which offer a vast array of features such as a chronograph which is my personal favorite because let's be honest, when will I ever use a water temperature gauge or modular computer add ons? Now for the cherry on top, the lume is some of the that I have ever seen, with a generous amount of lume it'll ensure that this watch is visible for nearly the whole night. Finally, housing this watch is a case that is certainly unique, a large and unforgiving design will ensure that you'll never forget that you're wearing it however, being constructed out of titanium ensures that it doesn't weigh a literal ton. Condition: This watch is in good condition given the nature of it's usage, while there is some wear to it, it adds great character to a watch that more than deserves it.
