Citrus Calamondin Variegated, is a beautiful and productive citrus prized for its striking green and cream variegated foliage, fragrant white blossoms, and masses of small, tangy fruit. Rich in vitamin C, the vibrant orange fruit has a zesty flavour that makes an excellent substitute for lemon or lime in cooking, marinades, dressings, desserts, cocktails, and refreshing drinks. This compact citrus typically begins producing fruit from around three years of age and is well suited to pots, courtyards, patios, or sunny garden beds. A heavy feeder, it responds well to regular applications of a quality citrus fertiliser or slow-release fertiliser up to four times a year. Prune lightly in late winter or early spring to maintain a neat shape and encourage healthy new growth. Soil: Well-drained, slightly acidic soil.Conditions: Full sun with 6-8 hours of sun per day.
