Citri-Lize pH Neutralizer will lower the pH level on wood, brick, non-polished stone, etc. that are highly alkaline to acceptable painting levels and is ideal for removing mill gla ze prior to painting and staining. Mill glaze is the shiny film formed when the metal mill saw blades get hot while cutting lumber. It’s present in most pressure treated pine & cedar like those on wooden decks, fencing, etc. Citri-Lize will also brighten surfaces after paint removal. pH neutralization is especially important if the paint-stripped surface will be repainted in the future. Suitable for interior and exterior applications. Note: Peel Away® 1 Paint Remover by Dumond® requires neutralization after use and before repainting is possible. Show more
