Yellow is my favorite color, and so naturally I had to create a Citrine piece for my geology-inspired paintings! If you ask me, Citrine is the darling of the gemstones... when it's left in its natural state, it has so many subtle tones and colors other than golds and yellows, and is delightfully nuanced. Much like this painting, I hope! Citrine, the painting, is soft and delicate with lots of detail to enjoy every time you look at it. I promise this yellow won't feel too yellow in your home. It's more like a sunshiny, cheerful neutral. No wonder Citrine is said to promote creativity, action, and optimism!
