The question worth settling before you order is not the cable, it is which battery sits under your van, because that decides how long it stays plugged in. Citroen sold the 50 kWh car on its own from late 2020, in standard and XL lengths, with 46.3 kWh usable. The 75 kWh version arrived with the March 2024 facelift and holds 68 kWh usable. Both share the same Type 2 inlet and the same cable. On a 7.4 kW wallbox the 50 kWh car fills from empty in about seven hours, while the 75 kWh car needs closer to ten and a half. That gap is the reason to plug in most nights rather than twice a week. An 11 kW three phase onboard charger was offered as an option, listed on the XL and on facelift cars.
