Violinist Lisa Batiashvili takes you on a musical journey through 11 cities around the world with her new album 'City Lights'. These places have special meaning for her, both in he r personal life and her career. From her native Georgia, to Munich, Helsinki, Buenos Aires to New York. The music ranges from J. S. Bach and Johann Strauss to Michel Legrand and Astor Piazzolla and collaborations with composer-arranger Nikoloz Rachveli, Katie Melua, Till Brönner, Miloš Karadaglic and Maximilian Hornung, among others. All tracks have been specially arranged and not previously recorded. Includes a new arrangement of music from Charlie Chaplin's films.
