CITYSCAPE REFLECTIONS Original oil painting on linen — 130 × 200 cm Cityscape Reflections was inspired by New York — the movement, scale and constant energy of a city that never re ally seems to stand still. I wanted to capture New York without painting it literally. Instead, I focused on the fragments you notice while moving through the city — light reflected in the streets, buildings dissolving into one another, movement passing through your peripheral vision. Familiar enough to recognise, but never completely still. At 130 × 200 cm, the painting was made to have a strong presence in a room. From a distance, the city begins to emerge. Up close, it breaks apart into layers, marks and reflections. ORIGINAL WORKOne of one. There will never be another Cityscape Reflections.
