Class: Advanced Beginner - Chanterelle Pant In this class you will sew a pair of lounge pants with an elastic waist, in a woven fabric. This is a two-session course. Note: This class will require pre-work to complete the finished garment within the two class sessions Hip measurement 33.5"-51", physical pattern available in shop For hip sizes 53"-61", a pdf is available online here Skill Level: Advanced Beginner Building on basic skills. Must have taken True Beginner or know how to thread a machine & sew a simple project on your own. Ages 18+ Supplies (Not included in the cost of the class) • Chanterelle Pant, by Sew Liberated • Medium linen or cotton or suitable woven fabric - Wash and dry your fabric before class Please see yardage requirements here • 2" elastic – for length, see elastic chart on pattern • Thread to match • Machine Needle • Fabric Scissors • Paper scissors • Zig zag scissors - to neaten seam allowance edge • Seam Ripper • Measuring tape • Pins • Tailor’s chalk (contrasting to fabric color) Equipment: Sewing machine & machine manual (Sewing machines are available to rent while in class for $10) Instructor: Hilary Heaviside Be prepared - Class supplies are available for purchase at Fiber Snob in person or online.
